Overseas Qualification Assessment and Credit Transfer

If you hold a Bachelor’s degree from an institution outside Australia, you might need to have your qualifications assessed by the Australian Government’s Department of Education. This assessment provides a statement of equivalency, clarifying how your degree compares to Australian standards. This can be crucial for various reasons, including when seeking credit transfers at Australian institutions like GCA, especially if the credits need to be recognised by professional associations.

Credit for Other Qualifications

Even if your qualifications aren’t specifically mentioned, you can still have them assessed for potential credit transfer. GCA will evaluate your prior learning to see if it meets the requirements for our courses.

International Offshore Applicants: Experience-Based Entry

For international offshore applicants who apply based on work and life experience rather than formal qualifications, you’ll need to demonstrate at least five years of relevant professional, management, or business-related work experience. You must also provide a letter from your employer(s) confirming that:

Your job responsibilities involved complete business processes.

These processes were regularly conducted in English.
