Kylie Black - Member of the Executive

Hi, my name is Kylie and I am the Director of Studies at Metro English College. I originally trained as a high school English literature and History teacher but my love of travelling sent me abroad where I discovered the great rewards in teaching English language. In total I have been teaching for over 14 years and I have worked at this college for more than 5 years. I have been fortunate enough to teach on all the programs offered by Metro English College and while I no longer teach full time my love of teaching means that I make every effort to try to spend time in the classroom. Currently I teach English for Academic Program one day a week, which is challenging but also great fun. I really enjoy working at Metro as I find that every day brings new challenges and new students so work is always an interesting place to be.

When not working I enjoy spending time travelling, photography, reading anything and everything, listening to one of my many CDs, bush walking and catching up with friends and family.
