One of GCA’s partnerships, and arguably the most significant, has been that between Group Colleges Australia and the software company ISIS-Systems. The ISIS Team approached the development of a “college administration system” from the view point that students, the ultimate beneficiary of education delivered, would be better served if all stakeholders were able to have access to the information required to support the student. The stakeholders would need efficient access to all the information to which they were entitled from anywhere in the world via the world wide web. The involvement of GCA with ISIS Systems has been beneficial to both parties, with the result being the development of a web-based student administration system that is flexible enough that it can be tailored to meet a range of requirements across a number of educational sectors.
ISIS provides a range of administrative services to all colleges and stakeholders such students, administration staff, educational agents and government regulatory bodies.

ISIS-Systems provided programmers and database designers, and GCA member colleges provided the ISIS System team with the business analysis, software testing and user feedback around which the system has been built.GCA member colleges have reaped the benefits of the GCA-ISIS partnership, becoming preferred ISIS users with the right to ask for enhanced functionality and the ability to have input into the development of future ISIS enhancements.
